Alternative Names
This game is also known as the Alternative Book Titles Baby Shower Game. Each player gets a game card along with a pen or pencil. They need to figure out the real name for each alternative title. Raise the stakes by adding a 5 min timer. The player to finish first with the most correct answers wins!

Baby Animals Game
Distribute a game card to each participant along with a pen or pencil. On your go, start the timer. Each guest will have a limited time (at least 3 mins) to write the name of the animal’s baby for each one. The one that gets the most right wins!

Baby Food
Prior to the shower, buy a mixed batch of flavored baby food jars. Cover or remove the labels from each jar to keep the mystery. Number each jar using a sticky label. Distribute a game card to each participant along with a pen or pencil, a paper plate and a corresponding number of plastic teaspoons! Remove the jar lids so each player can scoop food onto for tasting. Each player then proceeds to write their guess. The guest with the most correct answers wins. This is a quick and easy baby shower game to explain, each player is given a game card and a pen. On “go!” all the participants start writing down a common baby name corresponding to each letter of the alphabet on their game sheet. The person that finishes first, wins! The advantage of this game is that if the parents-to-be had not settled on a name for their unborn baby, they now have numerous options to pick from.

This is a multiple choice baby trivia quiz that combines cute baby facts with head scratching questions. Test your guests’ knowledge about babies and discover who is savviest baby guru in the group!
Distribute a sheet to each participant and on your go, start the timer. Each guest will have a limited time (at least 3 mins) to enter their answers. The one with the highest total wins! Bingo is a classic game. Everyone loves bingo, so why not bring it into a baby shower? Baby shower bingo can be played in a variety of ways.
Each player gets a Bingo game card along with markers such as buttons, M&M’s, Skittles or cereal like Cheerios. Before the mom-to-be starts opening her gifts, they need to fill out each square with their potential gift guess. Sometimes the middle square is already pre-filled, it’s a joker. The guest of honor then proceeds to open her gifts. If the gift opened by the mother to be matches one of their squares, they cross it or mark it. The first guest to get 5 in a row (across, up/down, diagonally) wins a prize!

Another option for playing this game, would be to play it like regular bingo. You have a card with baby shower related items written on them. Then you have a bucket to draw the items out of that are written down. First one to yell “Bingo” wins!
Candy bar Game
This is an easy to play baby shower game, each player is given a game card and a pen. All you need to do is match up the candy bars, with the pregnancy/ baby related word. The person that with the most correct answers wins!

Each guest receives a printout with a pen or pencil, on your “go!” they will try to guess the Children books spelled out in emojis. The one with the most correct answers wins!

Don’t Cross Your Legs
The expectant mother is unable to cross her legs as her bells is almost ready to pop and so should the guests! Upon arrival, give each guest a clothespin and tell them that since the mom to be is unable to cross her legs, neither should they. Each time a player spots someone crossing their legs, they are allowed to steal their clothespin. At the end of the shower, the person with the most clothespins wins! You’ll be surprised at how often people cross their legs.
This is a fun to play baby shower game, each guest is given a a clothespin. There’s only one rule: no one is allowed to say the word baby. If anyone hears another say “baby”, their clothespin gets taken away and the game is over for them! The person who has the most clothespins at the end of the baby shower or (at the end of the allocated time), wins!
Find the Guest
Start the shower off with this game to encourage everyone to mix and mingle. This is an icebreaker game so it should be played in the beginning of the party. Ask the guests to talk to each other in order to get to know more about each other. They will do this by walking around and talking to different guests asking them questions. They write down the name of the guest who meets the given statement in the corresponding blank space. The person to complete their game sheet first wins!

He Said She Said (Guess Who Said it)
Before the shower, ask mom and dad to answer the questions provided and note down their responses. Distribute a blank sheet to each guest and ask them to guess who they thought said each quote, mommy, daddy or both. The person with the most correct answers wins!
How Old Were the Parents
Everyone is sure to get a kick out of seeing childhood photos of the guest of honor (the mom-to-be or the parents-to-be if it’s a co-ed event).
This one takes a little bit of prep, start by asking for several pictures of the mother-to-be all at different ages. (Awkward school pictures, anyone?) Arrange them on a poster board or table with a number next to each.
Provide a paper and a pen for each guest and ask them to write down how old they think the mom-to-be was in each picture. Whoever gets the most right wins.

This baby names quiz is not as easy as it sounds but you’ll be surprised how many laughs your guests will have with this one. This quiz is all about finding the baby names that correspond to the clues. Provide each guest with a printed copy with a pen or pencil and set the timer for at least 5. Start the clock and have them write the baby name that matches the simple definition. When the time’s up, the person with the most correct answers wins!
Guess How Many Candies
Put your guests’ guessing skills to the test with this fun game! All you need is a baby bottle or a Jar filled with candies. You can also fill it with marbles or the item of your choice. Provide each participant with an answer card so they can write down their name and their guess and let the guessing games begin! The person with the closest guess wins.
Mommy Tummy Size
This game is quite fun. For this game, everyone will get a card. You will have to have yarn and scissors available. Each guest will take the yarn (or in some variations, toilet paper) and cut the yarn to where they think it will wrap around the mommy’s tummy perfectly. If you would like, you can use a measuring tape and each guest can write down their guess. The closest guess wins!
*Suggestion: If this is a coed baby shower, meaning there are dad’s around, this game isn’t for them. Maybe have them play “How many baby items can you name”. This game will test their knowledge as potential fathers. Or you can bring in some baby dolls and test the men on their diaper changing skills. All you will need is some baby dolls (which you can borrow from your friends who already have kids, who have baby dolls) and diapers. See what guy can change a diaper the best!

This is a fun baby shower game that gets everyone out of their seat as they scramble to search stacks of gifts or the event room in the house searching for the pacifiers you’ve hidden around. Price is Right
Babies need a lot of stuff ! Prior to the baby shower; you can buy 10 to 12 baby items that the parents may need. The game evaluates who is the best at guessing the cost of the items. Each guest writes down the prices of each item on the list as well as the total. The person whose total is closest to the actual price becomes the winner. The best part of this game is that the parents-to-be get to keep the baby items used for the game, they will come in handy.
Sweet Mess
This game is very interesting and can be a bit messy, but still fun! For this game, you will use diapers and number them for the amount of candy bars you have. So let’s say, one to six. Then you will melt candy bars in each one. You will take each diaper and try to figure out what candy bar was melted in the diaper. You can guess what is in each diaper by smelling, touching, seeing and even tasting. Put your guesses on the paper provided. Whoever has the most right, wins the game!
The game is an outstanding way to get everybody involved and to reveal some fun facts about the guests at the baby shower.
